E’ disponibile in queste ore una nuova beta di Popcorn Time, l’applicazione che ha rivoluzionato lo streaming di film e serie tv. Gli sviluppatori hanno velocizzato e stabilizzato l’app che nella precedente versione generava un eccessivo uso della CPU con conseguente surriscaldamento.
Tra le nuove feature troviamo la possibilità di caricare i sottotitoli (in file SRT) tramite drag-and-drop e il copia-incolla dei torrent nell’applicazione per riprodurre qualsiasi video. Per una maggiore fluidità l’app adesso salverà in locale i file visualizzati, cosi da evitare un nuovo caricamento nel caso di perdita di connessione.
Il team, inoltre, ha ufficialmente dichiarato di essere al lavoro per il porting dell’applicazione su Android.
